1 -illusion o delusion?-
Nota d'usoDelusion non significa “delusione”, ma “illusione” nel senso di una convinzione sbagliata, infondata: She labours under the delusion that she is the Queen, si illude di essere la Regina. Anche illusion significa “illusione”, ma propriamente si riferisce a una percezione sbagliata, basata sui sensi: an optical illusion, un'illusione ottica; lighting that gives the illusion of extra space, illuminazione che dà l'illusione di maggior spazio.
